Best IT Volunteering Project - Impact on Organisations

Awarded jointly to a volunteer and a charity who have worked together on a successful IT project.

The key issue is impact - the project itself could be a very simple project technically but has made a real difference to the way the charity functions.

As well as summarising the project undertaken you will need to provide evidence of:

  • The way in which both parties managed the working relationship and ensured that the project management kept things on course
  • Quantified evidence of improved performance by the charity as a result of the project
  • Evidence that the project supports the aims of the organisation
  • Sustainability - evidence of how the charity was enabled to keep things going once the project had been completed

Remember that this is a joint award for recognising the role of both the organisation and the volunteer working together in a successful project. Please ensure all answers reflect the views/achievements of both.
