Best IT Volunteer

Awarded to the IT volunteer that has really made a difference to your organisation.

As well as summarising the project undertaken you will need to provide evidence of your volunteer's *:

  • Commitment & enthusiasm to the project and organisation
  • Reliability, technical competence and professionalism
  • Communication skills - being able to explain technical issues to the staff in the charity
  • Sustainability - providing charity staff with skills to keep things going once the project had been completed
  • Appropriate use of technology for the needs of the organisation
  • Understanding the aims of the organisation

Include in this when your organisation was founded, whether it is a registered Charity or a not for profit organisation, who it serves and how, aims and objectives or mission statement.

 

2. Please provide brief summary of the project undertaken by the volunteer. (150 words or less)

 

3. Please describe how the volunteer project supports the aims of your organisation. (150 words or less)

 

4. Please supply evidence of excellence. (200 words or less)

This should outline what makes this volunteer shine and how value was added to the organisation by their input/work/project. This evidence should be quantitative if possible.

 

5. In 500 words of less, why do you think your volunteer deserves to win this award?

This should include details of the overall impact that this project/work/volunteer input has had. In this section evidence may be quantitative, qualitative or a mixture of both.
