Case Study - EnviroAbility

EnviroAbility operate a number of projects. mainly to benefit the environment, that integrate people with learning difficulties into the community and provide real work opportunities.

When they decided that they needed a website to showcase their projects it was very important that the site would be accessible to everyone,

Project Summary

To build a website aimed at a wide audience including people with disabilities, including visual impairments.

Project Delivery

Glyn designed and built the excellent EnviroAbility website. The site has facilities to increase text size and change background contrast, as well as update facilities.

I do not really have a timescale as the work was carried out at home by Glyn. The project spanned many months and I would think took a number of weeks work to complete.

Glyn is still in the process of adding new facilities to the site.

Lessons learnt

Glyn becoming a Director of the charity was key as was his interest and commitment to recycling; our central activity.

Outcomes

We now have a shop window to the world which has allowed many people to see the work we do.
