Updated IT system for The Police Foundation
Client
The Police Foundation, founded in 1979, is an organisation that provides strict and impartial voice on contemporary policing issues.
The challenge
The charity was experiencing many problems with its IT system and wanted professional advice on how to choose an IT support provider.
Our help
Adrian Wilkinson, a regular iT4Communities volunteer, checked the stability of the Foundation's server and determined that the computers needed to be updated. He tested all the existing equipment, software and systems, helped to get everything at a very affordable price and installed the new equipment.
Finally, Adrian updated the existent computers and ensured they were compatible to the printing/scanning facilities.
The result
- An updated system that allows the staff to work more efficiently
What our client said
Adrian is extremely qualified, patient and reliable and has been a pleasure (to work with)... Without Adrian helping us we
would have had a large bill to pay to an outside IT consultancy company and probably, would have had to change our systems over a
long period of time, as we could not afford to get all the work done immediately.
