Gareth continues to work with us; he has put some challenges forward for us to work on. Once again we feel the IT4communities volunteers offer that missing spark often required in charity work to re-ignite the flame. This is the case in both the volunteers we have found through iT4communities and feel it's well worth the investment.- Terry Moseley, President, British Disabled Angling Association.
...I have two very helpful volunteers. The first volunteer who is helping to create a website banner for us is Andy Turner. He has produced several drafts that are being discussed. Nick Jones is looking at giving us search engine optimization advice and is also trying to solve the contact form problem. The response has been very encouraging.- Gill Hopkins, St Mary Islington Community Partnership.
Just a quick message on behalf of Kanaama - having registered with you in December, we had two volunteers express an interest in early January - we met them both a couple of weeks ago and work is now well underway to revamp our website. So, many thanks for putting us in touch with such experienced, qualified and motivated professionals!- Sarah Witts, Kanaama Interactive Community Support.
It is so fantastic having someone with IT experience guiding us. Alan was invaluable when we moved office and we had to set up all our IT systems.- Kim Thornton, Fundraiser, Campaign Against Living Miserably.
Many thanks for your assistance with posting our request for help on the website. We've already had three responses, and I've made arrangements to meet one of the volunteers next Monday... I have been quite taken aback by the number of responses already!- Guy Walsh, Care Co-ops Ltd.
It has been a pleasure working with Sonja. She has produced a great website- George Atkinson, Macclesfield Community Garden Centre.
The iT4Communities process and our volunteer have been a very positive experience for us, and one we would highly recommend. I am personally pleased with how things have progressed - particularly as there was a lot of uncertainty amongst staff about using a volunteer for something that was so critical for us as an organisation.- Tina Baker, Community Foundation for Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole.
iT4Communities is wonderful! They just get the job done, no nonsense. This whole volunteer thing has turned out to be more than just interesting. A dozen people replied to our advert on iT4Communities, and each one has his own ideas - all of them good- Francois Greeff - Managing Director, Good4you.
And in the words of our volunteers:
I have really enjoyed working with CPSK. It's been hard work at times but very rewarding. It was the second project I did through iT4Communities - the first was quite a short project for a mental health charity. iT4Communities do a fantastic job and it's great to be able to do something for the community, so thank you for the opportunities you provide.- iT4Communities volunteer Vincent Taylor, Greater Manchester.
It's good to give something back to society. I enjoy working with the people I meet. I'm something of an evangelist for IT and it is good when people really do find IT benefiting their working lives.- iT4Communities Volunteer Paul Davis about his work for Groundwork.
