iT4C Website

You may have noticed some changes to our website ...

We moved to a new website and system on 24 April 2007. This is the first phase of some major enhancements to the system. Here's a quick summary of the changes:

Look and feel has been improved - not least to make our site more accessible for all. (We aim for W3C AA standard). You may notice that the menus have changed so that the most often used links are at the top. The menus will change a few more times over the next few weeks to reflect the content updates we are working on.

Terminology has changed - Most importantly Work Packages become Opportunities: We decided that "Work Packages" was an obscure way of defining volunteering opportunities. "Opportunities" is more descriptive and less technical (Work Packages was derived from project management jargon).

We hope that you like the changes, please let us know if you have any suggestions to make the website work better for you. We have a feedback form www.iT4Communities.org.uk/iT4C/home/sitefeedbck.jsp and are also very happy to receive emails: info@iT4Communities.org.uk or calls: 020 7796 2144

We would like to say thank you to our suppliers Spiral Arm who have built the recent website changes (www.spiralarm.com).
