Welcome to the Charity Newsletter - Issue 7

The Volunteer Week has came and gone and we are now looking forward to the IT Volunteer Awards 2007. For those of you who work with volunteers I trust you made the week 'fun ' for your volunteers. Find out what our volunteers did that week and what one of the volunteers thinks about volunteering.

We are now taking nominations for the IT Volunteer Awards 2007. This is your chance to win £250 cash and gain wide media coverage. There are 4 categories in this year's awards:
1 - Best IT Volunteer

2 - Best IT Volunteering Project - Impact on Organisation
3 - Best IT Volunteering Project - Innovation
4 - Best Accessible IT Volunteering Project

Read more on the awards and find out how to make a nomination.

We are also introducing an RSS feed which will make opportunities readily visible to volunteers as soon as we publish them. This will increase the rate of matching volunteers and opportunities. This is a welcome addition of online system which we will continue to improve. If something is not working correctly for you, tell us about it and if you think we are doing it brilliantly tell others about us.
