Have you Thought about Becoming a Trustee?

The organisations that iT4Communitites support do not always have a specific IT need but need an IT strategy, an IT manager, an IT project manager. In essence they need someone with a good technical background, that is enthusiastic about the aims of the organisation and has their best interests at heart when it comes to strategic planning of IT.

As a trustee you would not be expected to be fix the PCs but to bring a strategic view to the technical infrastructure of the organisation and help keep it sustainable and relevant. You will, of course, also equally share in the general governance of the organisation. Positions such as these can be really rewarding, challenging and a fantastic boost to your CV.
