Welcome

Welcome to the June/July 2007 edition of iT4Communities newsletter.

This issue marks the start of a countdown to the 2nd Annual IT Volunteering Awards 2007 scheduled for the 29th November 2007. Following the great success of last year's event, this has become an annual event aimed at celebrating IT Volunteering. This year's theme is "Working Towards a Better World". There is prize money to be won for the charity you're working with. Find out more by visiting http://www.iT4Communities.org.uk/iT4C/home/Awards2007/awards.jsp

Also of great importance is the news that we are heading North - Sunderland University to be exact. We are going to be at the International IT in the Community Conference 2007 in Sunderland University (UK) on the 5th and 6th July 2007 - so why don't you pay us a visit and get the chance to meet the iT4C Team. Here at iT4Communities we are very much looking forward to the day, because we will get a chance to meet many of you face-to-face for the first time. Find out more

Last month was very good in terms of volunteers communicating with us. We would like to hear and have more contributions for the newsletter from you. To submit suggestions for future issues of this newsletter or enquiries about any issues raised in this edition email info@iT4Communities.org.uk.

Best wishes,
Tam Williams - Newsletter Editor
