Welcome to this edition of iT4Communities Volunteer Newsletter - packed with many items of interest to a wide audience.
We will soon be adding an RSS feed to our home page. This will deliver opportunities right to your desktop as soon as an opportunity becomes available. This should definitely make things easier for you. However, the introduction of the RSS does not mean that you should stop searching the database for any you might have missed.
Meanwhile, momentum is gathering in preparations for the 2007 IT Volunteer Awards. Very good and interesting nominations are trickling in. If you still haven't made a nomination, I would like to encourage you to as the 'little bit' will turn into 'a lot' for your charity. If you are new to the awards, see the winning entries from last year. If you are not sure that you qualify, give me a call to discuss. Don't be shy to share your success. Let's celebrate it!
Some of you might be wondering what happened in Sunderland. You can catchup here.
Volunteers are getting in touch with us more than they used to. We would like this to continue and would love to hear and have more contributions for the newsletter from you. To submit suggestions for future issues of this newsletter or enquiries about any issues raised in this edition email info@iT4Communities.org.uk.
Best wishes,
Tam Williams - Newsletter Editor---------------------------------------------
