We are pleased to announce the first of iT4Communities Annual Conference and Awards which will be held on the 14th November 2006 at the BCS London headquarters.
Workshops:
Making the Best Use of Free ICT Support - working with IT Volunteers
iT4Communities are working in partnership with CVS and other infrastructure organisations across England to bring our workshops to you. As these dates and venues are set we will let you know. We have one this week (6 July at the Women's Resource Centre in central London) for women who manage (or wish to manage) an IT Volunteer. iT4Communities will be presenting at ICT Hub regional conferences over the coming months. We have already been to Newcastle and Liverpool to offer short workshops and give you an opportunity to ask questions, let us know how we can offer a service you need. Case studies needed:
Summit Collaborative are sourcing organisations to volunteer to be case studies of ICT planning, implementation and use. This will require just a 15-30 minute phone interview. The case studies will be used in the How to Cost and Fund publication they are writing for the ICT Hub.
