It's amazing how time flies! I can't believe that we are nearly half way through the year. This brings us nearer to our amazing first Annual Conference and Awards which is supported by the ICT Hub, the BCS and numerous other people and organisations in the IT sector as well as the Charity sector.

The Conference will include another new annual event - The IT Volunteer Awards. These awards aim to acknowledge and show appreciation of the great works being carried out by IT Professional Volunteers throughout the UK.

As part of this event we will be honouring volunteer IT Professionals, their companies and the organisations they volunteer for with awards in various categories. To this end we would to invite charities and other VCOs to suggest the categories and criteria you would like included. Email: info@iT4Communities.org.uk

Our website has changed. For those of you who were used to the old site, I can assure you that the new site makes it a lot easier to manage your project requests and volunteers. To help you find your way around the site we have put together a guide . You will also find this on the home page www.iT4Communities.org.uk.

The ICT Hub is also hosting events aimed at the organisations you are working with, so it would be great if you can make them aware of these. You will find these on the Events page.
