It's now about 2 months to our first Annual Conference and Awards!
Have you nominated yourself or the organisations you have worked with for an Award? Do not be modest. You might be thinking, 'Oh.. it was just a simple database or a simple website so it's not worth nominating as it will never win' . This is not so, as something so simple may have revolutionised the way an organisation carries out it's daily business processes.
If you have introduced an organisation to the joys of email, put in a network or supported an organisation with training, it all goes a long way in sustaining and capacity building the organisation. To you it might be something simple and you may feel that it's not that important, but I would like to assure you that from my experience with voluntary and community organisations every little bit helps.
