The IT Volunteer Awards presentation ceremony will now take place at the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists Hall, Barbican, London on evening of 28th November 2006.
The event has been changed from all day event to an event reception to all as many people as possible to attend. Tom Ilube, chief executive of Richmond Informatics and former CIO of Egg, will speak on why IT professionals should volunteer and why companies should play a role as well.David Morriss, 2005 President of the British Computer Society will present the awards. On hand will be representatives from the corporate sector, funders and charities. The event will present you with an opportunity to network with other professionals from the IT sector, funders and the charities which you are aiming to help. Who knows, this might be the event where you get your next big project!
