Looking for a trustee?

iT4C would always recommend that once you have a clear description of your volunteer need that to advertise appropriately and widely is very wise! iT4C volunteers are often looking for Trustee roles and if you would like a technically minded trustee we would suggest asking us to help look for one.

Are you looking for new trustees? Do you know of other charities that are looking for new trustees? Getting on Board might be able to help.

We are a charity, working with employers to encourage them to support their staff to volunteer as trustees, school governors or members of boards of public bodies. We run seminars to tell employees about the role of a trustee, what is involved, and why they should volunteer. We aim to help employees find the right organisations for them to join, with causes that they can feel passionate about.

Through our contacts with employers, we have some excellent potential trustees registered with us, who have a wide range of skills, such as financial, IT, management, HR, and marketing. Some are young high fliers, others are experienced senior executives. One of them could make a great contribution to your organisation.
