A £3 million Thank You

A couple of weeks ago we sent out an email asking whether you could help us achieve the amazing value delivered milestone of £3 million. Well you did. The response was absolutely fantastic and not only did you give us valuable updates on projects where work had been started and completed, we were inundated with 'good news' stories to tell our funders.

We sent the email out at midday on Friday 4th July and by close of play on Friday you had helped us to achieve our milestone. Thank you so much.

Barrier Breakers was just one of the organisations that contacted us and described how iT4Communities volunteers are helping organisations throughout the UK.

Barrier Breakers is a small charity that works to benefit people who are disadvantaged, marginalised or at-risk in Greater London - their current focus is on women in the criminal justice system; their projects develop soft skills, to nurture well-being, confidence, creativity and life skills.

Barrier Breakers have had help from a number of iT4Communities volunteers - starting in 2004. They currently have a Database project 'In Progress' with an iT4Communities volunteer. Their Creative Director Penelope Tobin said iT4Communities are a blessing for organisations such as ours...we've had help in the past, and are currently being advised by a volunteer on a project that would not be possible without practical support of this kind.

We really do need to keep this momentum going, so please keep in touch with us and let us know how your project is progressing... or not - we are here to help if things aren't progressing as they should.

And if you know of any other organisations in your area that need IT assistance then please tell them about iT4Communities.

Our continued funding depends upon demonstrating results like Barrier Breakers so please help us to spread our good news as widely as possible.
