UCanDoIt petition
Do you believe that computer training should be available to disabled people in the UK? Disability charity UCanDoIt believes that it should.
UCanDoIt teaches disabled adult students how to use the Internet and email. Since 1996 they have taught almost 2000 students on a one-to-one basis in the student's own home.
They believe that funding for this type of training should be the responsibility of the government and have set-up an online petition on the No 10 Downing Street website. They are asking everyone to sign it and pass it on to the friends and colleagues and to mention it in their newsletters. You can sign the petition at http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/ucandoit/. The deadline for signatures is 05 August 2008
