Welcome

Welcome to the July edition of the iT4Communities charity newsletter

A couple of weeks ago we asked you for help in relating your good news stories so that we have evidence of what a great job our volunteers are doing when we apply for funding. The response was overwhelming as Nigel tells us: £3 million thanks.

Vote! Now we're asking for your help again. As you may be aware, we are having funding problems - we'll be telling you more about this soon.

Right now, we've been short listed in a competition to win up to £20,000 of funding from MoneySavingExpert.com. We've done incredibly well to get this far - there were over 600 entries and we're in the final twelve. We need you to vote for us now! The four charities with the most votes when the poll closes on Tuesday 22nd July will become MoneySavingExpert's chosen charities for the year.

We have helped a lot of the most popular charities mentioned (34 projects for the top 5 in the poll and their associates) but we serve you rather than the public directly so we are not as well known as the other short listed charities.

If every one of our 2000+ charities voted for us we'd have a great chance of being in the top four. So please click here to vote for us NOW!

And if we win? We'll use the extra funding to recruit more volunteers to help your organisation with your IT needs. So everybody benefits!

I hope you enjoy this newsletter, but even if you've no time to read it please spare a minute to vote for us!
