Welcome to the summer edition of the iT4Communities charity newsletter.

We have been recruiting a lot of new experienced IT volunteers over the last few months. We hope that means that you've found a suitable volunteer for any opportunities you have advertised with us. If not, please let us know and we'll do what we can to make your request more visible to our volunteer community. If, however, you've heard from too many volunteers, please let us know that too. We can easily remove your opportunity from the website once you've found someone to help you.

We've received a grant from the Nominet Trust to run a new volunteer mentoring project. Please get in touch if you would like more information about how you can get involved in this.

We're also about to start a collaboration with Sainsbury's. Sainsbury's have in-house IT support which is unusual in a company that big and they are pleased to have begun offering our (your!) projects to their staff who may wish to volunteer. We are also exploring other ways of working together. They are a very community minded team and are very supportive of iT4Communities so we are very much looking forward to working with them.
