How our volunteers are helping!

In the first six months of the year we had requests for help on 175 projects throughout the UK. Since then we've found interested volunteers for over 80% of them - as shown in the chart.

Opportunities pie chart Fifteen percent of the projects have already been completed - these include websites, databases, fixing printers and more - all the things our volunteers are experts at.

Twenty three percent - that's 41 - projects are still being worked on. That's professional volunteers providing valuable help to organisations who need it desperately.

Thirty percent of the projects had at least one (and often many more) volunteers interested but we have not heard what happened next - is one of these projects for your organisation? Please, please let us know.

Less than 10% of projects have had no interest from volunteers (yet!) although you can see that a few were withdrawn when the organisation found alternative help or changed their requirements.

We think this is an impressive response from our volunteer community. We hope you agree.
