Welcome to the first volunteer newsletter of 2008. I hope you all had a great festive break relaxing with friends and family.
It's the time of year when we often take stock of what we've done over the last twelve months and what we hope to achieve in the new year. Development Consultant Anne Stafford has been thinking about this and explains what we're planning for 2008.
Something that's already started in the new year is a review of our website. We're taking two different approaches to this but we'd also love your input. Please let us know if you have any suggestions or constructive criticism about the site.
Talking of the website we'd love to include photos of volunteers working with charities and community organisations. They do say that "a picture's worth a thousand words" so please don't be shy. When you're next on-site working with a charity why not get a photo taken and send it in? We'll use the best ones on the website and, of course, we'll give full credit to the photographer. As an extra incentive we'll award an iT4C polo shirt to the sender of the photo.
As ever we'd love to hear from you - with comments, photos, suggestions or news about the opportunities you're working on - via email to info@it4communities.org.uk
