IT Volunteers needed for sustainable future!

Action for Sustainable Living (AfSL) is a local charity based in Manchester. Our core focus is to engage people in lifestyle changes relating to sustainable living topics such as: recycling, waste, clothing, energy, fair-trade, gardening, holidays, household, local food, transport and more. We focus on promoting the small steps we can take in our daily lives towards achieving bigger changes in the wider world. We take a holistic view of the changes needed to bring about sustainable living and achieve this through community action groups, networks and partnerships with other organisations. All our work is delivered by our small team of paid staff and large base of volunteers that work with schools, universities and local businesses.

It is through the hard work of our volunteers, and particularly those with IT skills, that we have our new logo and website, which acts as a hub of information on our various projects and community action groups, and on how people can get involved. Any skills and time people have to offer is invaluable to the further development of our information systems and information available on how we can work together to protect the world around us.
