Welcome
Welcome to the March issue of our volunteer newsletter.
We've exciting news this month with the announcement of our 5,000th registered volunteer.
Also in this issue John Davies gives us a round-up of what the team have been doing in the last few weeks - we don't sit in the office answering the phone all the time! We've some ideas of where you can go for help if you're stuck with a technical problem while volunteering.
We also highlight some new guidelines developed for the Circuit Rider movement in the UK. Some of guidelines could be appropriate for iT4C volunteers. We'd love to know what you think.
We've a request from two charities for volunteers - Growing Ambitions are looking for IT professionals to talk about their career to young people in schools while Action for Sustainable Living would appreciate any help to improve their IT systems and help them spread their message about sustainable living.
I hope you enjoy this issue. Please let us know what you think of the articles by email to info@it4communities.org.uk. We'd also love to hear any ideas you've got for articles for future newsletters.
