Girl Geek Dinners
Girl Geek Dinners is a network of women working in technical jobs. The organizers put on monthly events, aimed at providing a welcoming atmosphere and a platform for learning in an informal environment. They are held in pubs and bars, and there is usually a speaker or three who talk for a short while on a chosen subject for the evening. Events are often sponsored so are usually free to attend.
The next event is on 25th June at our iT4C home base - the Information Technologists Hall. Not a pub this time but we believe our building was once a pub so that may partly account for our convivial culture. We hope you can be with us Girl Geeks and iT4C for the evening. Details to be confirmed but space will be limited to 60 people so keep a slot free in your diary.
There are Girl Geek Dinners networks in London, Brighton, Nottingham and across Europe, information, links and details of next events are at: londongirlgeekdinners.co.uk
A pod-cast and PDF are available to answer all your questions about how it all started, what you might expect from an event and other insights from Girl Geek Founder, Sarah Blow.
And Girl Geeks are good friends with the guys at London Geek Dinners
