Get Rewarded in the UK Catalyst Awards

The UK Catalyst Awards celebrates the best in Social Technology across the UK and recognises the everyday heroes who use technology to make a positive impact to the world around them.

The Awards were set up last July when Prime Minister Gordon Brown set up the Council for Social Action saying: "I believe it is time to celebrate the best in Britain, and by celebrating it and enhancing it, and by encouraging many more of us to participate in it we can build the good society where each of us asks what we can give and all of us can make a difference"

Here at iT4C we feel that our volunteers should be rewarded for the difference they make to charities and community groups and it seems Catalyst awards agree with us. They want to hear your inspiring stories of how you've used social technology in new and exciting ways. Perhaps that website you created has linked remote users with a valuable service or your database now collects all the information that charity needed to get those vital funds in?

If you're idea wins not only would your idea be recognised as the best in the country but you could also see it rolled out nationally or even internationally!
