Welcome
Welcome to the October issue of our volunteer newsletter.
We have had an eventful month. Not least on the day of Thursday 25th which was the launch of our online donations facility and later that evening I was honoured to meet Vint Cerf, "Father of the Internet", Vice Chairman of Google and Internet Evangelist.
We will let you know how the donations are coming along, and our thanks to those who have already donated and to those who sent ideas for iT4Communities future; we will be gathering the ideas together and discussing them in the next newsletter.
I suspect you have all seen Vint Cerf's video support of the work you do to reduce the 'digital divide' that charities can find themselves on the wrong side of but for those who haven't please see our home page.
Please support our donations programme by spreading the word and link - see Supporting iT4Communities on the website.
If you think your company or contacts would be interested in sponsorship please contact me or our Programme Director John Davies. Email: john@wcit.org.uk. Telephone: 020 7796 2144.
