Can you help iT4Communities become more well known?

We often hear from charities who say "I wish we had known about you before!". We try to be visible nationally but often the best way to reach charities is through local or regional knowledge. So if you see a way of letting people know about us then please go for it!

We have flyers on the Publications page of the website which anyone is free to print out and hand out. If you can't be our Ambassador yourself then simply let us know who we should be talking to and we'll do the rest.

Your local CVS may be a good place to start, and you can check their details in the National Directory, but your local knowledge will help you identify events, organisations and locations where iT4Communities should be visible. Get in touch and we'll support you.

Local newspapers are often short of copy and grateful for articles. If you've recently completed a project and would like to publicise it locally we can help with material and composition. It's a way to publicise the good work of the organisation you helped as well as your own part in it so they will probably be keen to support this. If you don't know your local press details you can check the Newspaper Society lists.

If you see an opportunity to give a talk about our service then we can supply PowerPoint presentations and, even, if you are a bit nervous about public speaking, one of our core team to present if the event justifies our expenses.

If you have other ideas for things you could do - as well as volunteering of course - then get in touch.
