Accessibility training for you?
In 2007 we worked in partnership with AbilityNet, the accessibility experts, to bring you accessibility workshops. We have been talking to them about starting these again. Would these be useful to you? The subjects suggested so far have been:
- A Practical guide to Accessible Flash and Silverlight
- WCAG 2.0 - the new accessibility guidelines
- The New British Standard - BS 8878 Web accessibility - Building accessible experiences for disabled people - Code of Practice - what it is and how to use it (Replaces PAS 78 Summer 2009)
- Testing for Web accessibility - key tools and techniques
- Web 2.0 technologies - the new frontier of web accessibility
Do any of these sound like the sort of thing you have been waiting for?
It is likely they will be day courses in London, with small groups (up to 25) and cost about £100-£150 per place. Please can we have your feedback and input to help us make these as useful to you as we can?
