They have an Access 2003 database with details of about 80 clubs which they would like to show on their website, and be able to maintain in-house, so they'll need secure web pages to allow them to add and maintain the details of the lunch and social clubs. Their office is not wheelchair-accessible. There is an associated project to update their website design and implement a content management system and a gallery.

Description: This small charity in Islington runs a variety of social and training events. Although open to all they are of most benefit to people with mental health problems or those experiencing social exclusion. Activities include a photography club, gardening, walking trips and regular social evenings. They will soon be starting a new Wellbeing project. The charity are looking to revamp their website. They would like a nicer design and more freedom to make changes to the site. The current site is easy to maintain but they are restricted in the changes they can make and, in particular, they would like to be able to add images. They're looking for a volunteer with a flair for design who can work with them to create a template driven site that is easy to update. The site doesn't need interactive features - the content would be mainly text and images with some PDFs and Word documents. They are happy to move host if they need to but would like to continue using some sort of CMS.

Description: Although only a year old this charity is already working with a number of projects throughout the developing world. They set up and support community music projects for some of the most deprived children by providing funding for instruments, music stands, books, teacher training, etc. They aim to use both local traditional and classical music to help young people learn life skills such as teamwork and leadership and generally build their confidence. They have a small UK-based team of volunteers who need help to share and manage their contacts. They all use Apple Macs and have tried to set up a contacts database using the software that came pre-installed on the Mac - they're not sure what this is called and it may simply be an address book tool rather than a true database. However, they've not been able to share the data. They don't want to do anything sophisticated - they want to store contact information and categorise it according to a set of pre-defined categories; they'd like to flag the people who receive their e-newsletter and export that subset to the online newsletter software they use at createsend.com. Three people need to share the information - the Macs aren't networked - so they'll need to ensure that the data is synchronised. Ideally this is an opportunity for a volunteer with Mac experience but anyone who knows about databases and is prepared to experiment a little could probably help.

We would like a Web 2.0 site developed using PHP, AJAX and MySQL. 2) A PROJECT MANAGER who has experience of managing and delivering web projects.
