Volunteering boosts job prospects

 

A recent survey carried out by the CSV suggests that almost 90% of volunteers believe that volunteering had helped that develop skills that would be useful in the work place. Jason Jones, volunteer national manager at CSV, said The experiences of former volunteers have shown us how giving up time to make a difference to the lives of others can help a person's CV stand out from the crowd and improve their chances of landing a dream job.
