They currently have a WordPress website, which they find a bit limiting and would like some advice about other CMS options. They are considering a password protected area & a discussion board. Please can you help advise about their best options, oversee the transfer and help get them up and running on the new CMS (including advice about ongoing maintenance)? Description: This Barnet area charity provides vital support for people who are carers for family members with care needs - disability, ill health etc. They provide support for 4,500 carers including 340 young carers - children who support a sibling, parent or guardian. The small staff team and 80 volunteers provide relief from the stress and loneliness that a carers role can bring. They have many events and rely on local donations and support. A website would really support the work they do. Please can you help them look at a way to implement a low cost or free CMS website that they can easily update, can link with the Royal Carers Trust and has a secure members area? Description: This community centre based near Shoreditch and Liverpool St tube stations provides a range of services to the local community including a pre-school Under 5s Project, youth work, advice sessions, a women's project, and pensioners' clubs. They feel they have a rudimentary web site, which they would like expanded, to make it a more effective resource for different audiences. They would like you to help them to re-think both the design / layout and content of the web site - to improve navigation and user-friendliness and to better promote their general profile. They want new / separate sections being added in relation to funders/supporters; volunteering; news/events; room hire; environmental commitment; organisational history and different project areas, and an enquiry form. Most of all, they want to be able to keep it up to date, so they would like you to implement a suitable content management system, so that they can add new pages, change text and images, and they need you to show their admin staff how to do that.
