Welcome

Summer is here! We hope you are enjoying the sun. This newsletter arrives in Volunteer Week and we'd like to thank you once again for all your efforts in helping organisations with their IT needs.

We'll be attending the Circuit Rider Conference on June 9th. Registrations are open until Thursday 4th June and we'd love to see you there.

Alex Brooks-Johnson, organizer of Digital Leap, a digital conference for charity people, has kindly offered iT4Communites two free places for volunteers who wish to attend to help promote iT4Communities' volunteer programme. Would you care to join Anne Stafford in London on June 15? Please drop Anne an email: anne@it4communities.org.uk if you'd like to help.

Silver Surfers day took place on Friday 15th May with lots of events happening throughout the country. iT4Communities volunteers were busy preparing computers, running sessions and offering ongoing support. Glowing reports of the work of volunteers are arriving into the iT4Communities inbox and a write up of the day will be in your next newsletter. Apologies to those who did not get a chance to join in and congratulations to all those who were part of this day. SSD has a blog and I recommend Betty's video.
