Geographical distribution

With over 8,000 registered volunteers our network extends throughout the UK. We even have volunteers abroad!

The following map shows the distribution of volunteers who registered with iT4Communities during 2010. As you'd expect there is a concentration of volunteers in densely populated regions.

Unless you're in a particularly remote or rural area there's a good chance that there are a number of IT professional volunteers in your area. However, please remember that they may not all have the skills you require, they may currently be working with other charities or simply may not have time to volunteer at present.

If you can't find a local volunteer you might wish to consider a virtual volunteer.
