Registering as a volunteer

Before you can search for volunteering opportunities or request contact details for an organisation needing help you need to register with us by filling in a single on-line form

Filling in the form

Some of the fields on the form are marked as "required". We really need this information. It helps us contact you if we need to.

You'll need your username and password each time you sign-in to the site so please choose something you can remember. And please supply a valid e-mail address. If you request details of an organisation they'll be e-mailed to you. If we can't do that you can't help the organisation.

Optional information

You can choose which, if any, of the optional fields you fill in. Some of this information is useful to us when we provide reports to funders and evaluate our marketing campaigns. Some of it we don't use at present but we may in the future. For example if we choose to do active matching - contacting you when suitable opportunities arise - we'll need to know what your skills are.

If you're registering as part of a scheme supported by your employer please select the "Company" volunteer option. This helps us to provide information to your employer about the great work you're doing.
